Ballards Online is committed to making this website accessible, in line with the Public Sector Bodies (Websites and Mobile Applications) Accessibility Regulations 2018 principles and the Equality Act 2010.
Last updated: 19 April 2026.
1. Standard we aim for
We aim to meet WCAG 2.1 Level AA across the public website. That means content should be perceivable, operable, understandable and robust for the widest possible range of users and assistive technologies.
2. What we do
- Semantic HTML with a logical heading structure.
- Alt text on informative images; decorative images are hidden from screen readers.
- Colour contrast tested against WCAG 2.1 AA ratios.
- Focus states visible on all interactive elements; full keyboard navigation.
- Form labels, error messages and ARIA attributes on our enquiry form.
- Responsive layouts usable down to 320 px and up to 200% zoom.
3. Known limitations
Some third-party embeds (for example linked regulator pages) may not fully meet WCAG 2.1 AA. We review these and replace or remove where we can.
4. Alternative formats
If you need any document (engagement letter, filings or guidance) in large print, plain text or another format, email us via the contact page and we will send it within 5 working days.
5. Feedback
If you have trouble using any part of this site, or want to report an accessibility issue, please let us know. We treat accessibility feedback as a priority and respond within 5 working days.
